Tracy is an award-winning writer, director and animator, graduate of MediaXchange’s Advanced Television Writing Course 2018. Ffilm Cymru are supporting her bilingual debut feature TREMBLE (selected for the LIM European Script Lab 2019) and she recently directed the LGBTQ+ short film SALLY LEAPT OUT OF A WINDOW LAST NIGHT (May 2021) for their Beacons scheme. In 2019 Tracy was selected for an ACW Creative Wales Award to develop creative XR and is now in post-production on her first immersive bilingual 360VR project A SIGNAL ACROSS SPACE/ARWYDD DRWY’R AWYR. Theatre work includes UK and international tours and her radio plays have been broadcast on BBC R4 and Radio Wales, including series STATION ROAD and SOLO BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN, to critical acclaim. Tracy’s first model animation CODENAME CORGI supported by Sgrin/S4C won 2 BAFTA Cymru awards, Gold in Chicago, 1st at BAF and was runner up to Nick Park in the British Animation Awards. She co-scripted a 36-episode animated series COLIN AND CUMBERLAND for BBC, winning further BAFTA Cymru and Celtic Media awards. Tracy wrote on Red Planet/BBC Wales series CRASH and Fiction Factory’s BAFTA Cymru nominated series PERFECT SUMMER. Tracy was Development Exec and BFI NETWORK Manager at Ffilm Cymru Wales overseeing the production and development of over 50 short films and features. Her original thriller feature script MEDUSA is in development with Big Bad Wolf Productions and adaptations SPY ON THE ROOF OF THE WORLD in development with Faber Productions and WIRA with Silver Salt Films.
