Síofra is developing her second feature as writer/director, THE PRICE (IRL/BE), developed with Screen Ireland and adapting the major Simon Mayo novel KNIFE EDGE for as a TV series drama, to direct. Her 12-part scripted comedy podcast THE BRITISH ARE COMING! starring David Ganly, Clint Dyer and Saskia Reeves has been downloaded in over 100 countries. Her debut feature MARVELOUS (Ewen Bremner, Martha Plimpton, Amy Ryan) premiered at Tribeca and sold to Sundance Channel. Síofra’s pilot, GONNA START A RIOT, co-written with Clint Dyer, was selected for the DIRECTORS UK/ALEXA Anamorphic Challenge and screened at BAFTA. She has written and directed many short films including EASTER MONDAY (Michael Shannon), MEMORIAL DAY (Brían F. O’Byrne, Amy Ryan), LOVELESS BASTARD (Ewen Bremner, Amy Ryan) and REFUGE (Nemi Basri, Barry Ward). She was a founding member of CATALYST ARTS, Belfast, one of the most vibrant, cutting-edge artist-run organizations in Northern Ireland and is a member of the Time’s Up UK Writers Group.
