Eric is an award-winning director of feature films, television drama & documentaries and has been directing for over 25 years. Currently, Eric is helming a further CASUALTY and the television one-off GLAWAD as part of a multi platform event piece, 2022 (Mad as Birds). He directed the opening three episodes of BBC1 thriller THE PACT (May ’21), also for season one of HIDDEN, for BBC4 / S4C, and was hand-picked to helm beloved character Duffy's final episode for CASUALTY, for an audience of 5.5m. His feature, THAT GOOD NIGHT, a drama starring John Hurt, Charles Dance and Sofia Helin, premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Film. Eric's debut feature was drama DREAMING OF JOSEPH LEES, starring Samantha Morton, financed and distributed worldwide by 20th Century Fox to critical acclaim. His subsequent feature films include: RELATIVE VALUES an ensemble comedy with Julie Andrews, Colin Firth, Steven Fry; TEMPO with Melanie Griffith, Hugh Dancy and Rachel Leigh Cook, for Universal Pictures; MISS CONCEPTION, a fertility comedy, starred Heather Graham released theatrically by First Look Studio, and sold to over fifty territories; the psychological thriller TRUE TRUE LIE, starring Jaime King; and LEGENDARY, a 3D family-friendly adventure filmed in China, starring Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins which opened in China on over 5000 screens and at no.5 in the Chinese box office.
