Eric is an award-winning director of feature films, television drama & documentaries and has been directing for over 25 years. He directed the opening three episodes of new BBC1 thriller THE PACT (May ’21), also for season one of HIDDEN, a Welsh Noir for BBC4 / S4C, and was hand-picked to helm the beloved character Duffy's final episode for CASUALTY, drawing an audience of 5.5m viewers. His most recent feature, THAT GOOD NIGHT, a poignant drama starring John Hurt, Charles Dance and Sofia Helin, premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film. Eric's debut feature was the powerful drama DREAMING OF JOSEPH LEES, starring Samantha Morton and Rupert Graves; financed and distributed worldwide by 20th Century Fox to critical acclaim. His subsequent feature films include: RELATIVE VALUES an ensemble comedy with Julie Andrews, Colin Firth, Steven Fry, and Jeanne Tripplehorn; TEMPO with Melanie Griffith, Hugh Dancy and Rachel Leigh Cook, distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures Home Ent; MISS CONCEPTION, a fertility comedy, starred Heather Graham and Mia Kirshner, released theatrically by First Look Studio, and sold to over fifty territories; the psychological thriller TRUE TRUE LIE, starring Jaime King, released by The Weinstein Company; and LEGENDARY, a 3D family-friendly adventure filmed in China, starring Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins which opened in China on over 5000 screens and at no.5 in the Chinese box office.
